Gilles Lalonde - President and Chief Executive
Officer
A 20-year veteran in the high-tech and aerospace industries, Gilles Lalonde
co-founded Provance Technologies Inc. in 1997. In addition to leading the
executive team in strategic planning, Mr. Lalonde manages the company's
corporate investor relations and all legal, financial and governmental affairs.
Mr. Lalonde's experience has contributed to the development of Provance
as an emerging leader in IT service management software. From 1990 to 1996,
as principle partner of M.G. Lalonde and Associates Inc., he provided a
variety of consulting services that included asset management software implementation,
support, training, and courseware development. Previously, he held a number
of senior management and operations positions in the aerospace industry.
Mr. Lalonde serves on the Boards of a number of private companies as well
as several non-profit organizations. Mr. Lalonde has been involved with
the Outaouais United Way fund raising campaign since 2000 and was named
2004 Campaign President. He was also named Business Leader of the Year in
2003 by the "Regroupement des gens d'affaire (RGA)" for the National
Capital Area, CBC/Le Droit Business Personality of the Year in 2004, and
Personality of the Month in September 2004 by the Quebec Information Technology
Federation. Mr. Lalonde studied business administration at the University
of Ottawa, and participates in the Executive Education Program at Harvard
Business School. Mr. Lalonde has had his commercial pilot's license for
over 30 years and is a member of the Canadian Aircraft Owners and Pilots
Association and the Canadian Airborne Search and Rescue Association.
Kelly Moodie - Vice President, Sales and Client Delivery
Kelly Moodie brings some 20 years experience in building and implementing
Canadian and Global Go-to-Market strategies to Provance. She has proven
leadership and achievement in sales, marketing and business planning and
has a solid record of driving breakthrough revenue results. In her role
as Vice President, Alliances, Ms. Moodie is responsible for developing a
worldwide network of sales and support alliances under the Provance Partner
Program. Prior to joining Provance, Ms. Moodie held senior marketing roles
at Adobe Systems Inc. and Accelio Corporation. In these roles she was responsible
for the global government strategy, which included government solutions,
sales and partner development. During her seventeen-year tenure at Xerox
Corporation, Ms. Moodie held progressively senior sales management positions
ranging from Director, Canadian Public Sector Operations, to Business Development
Manager for the Federal Government. Ms. Moodie has a Bachelor's Degree in
Economics from Queen's University and has completed many professional development
courses in the areas of leadership, sales, finance and process management.
She is also active in several community and business organizations.
Gord Watts - Vice President, Marketing
Gord
Watts brings a unique blend of creativity, business acumen and technical
understanding to the position of Vice President, Marketing at Provance.
His role is to distill a keen understanding of market opportunities and
customer needs into a highly effective corporate marketing strategy, and
to drive the company’s success with succinct and compelling outbound
articulation of the Provance story. Gord has over 20 years of diverse professional
experience, including executive and senior level management positions at
industry-leading consumer and enterprise software companies, entrepreneurial
start-up experience, and a rich background in traditional marketing and
media. Previously, Gord was Marketing Vice President with GridIron Software
where he was the first executive hire of a highly entrepreneurial startup
focused on developing and successfully bringing an emerging new software
technology to market. In this capacity, Gord was responsible for developing
and executing an effective marketing strategy, including product marketing,
product management, corporate communications, business development and public
relations, as well as developing and implementing the corporate business
plan as a member of the core executive team. Gord has held the positions
of Marketing Vice President with graphics software company Hemera Technologies,
and Director of Product Marketing with enterprise business performance managment
software vendor Cognos. He was founder and President of Braylan New Media,
and co-founder and Vice President of 3WB.com. Gord has also held positions
at several of Canada’s leading radio broadcasting companies as a Program
Director and on-air personality. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Economics)
from Queen's University and a diploma in Radio Broadcasting from Loyalist
College.
