New Provance Software to be Showcased at ceBIT

Provance IT Asset Management Pack for Forthcoming Microsoft System Center Service Manager Previewed in Microsoft Pavillion at World’s Largest ITC Event

GATINEAU, QUEBEC – February 24, 2010 – Provance™ today announced that its new Provance IT Asset Management Pack for the forthcoming Microsoft System Center Service Manager 2010 will be shown at CeBIT in Hannover, Germany between March 2nd and 6th.

The Provance IT Asset Management Pack runs as a Process Management Pack within the forthcoming Microsoft System Center Service Manager 2010 to provide Software and IT Asset Management.  The supplemental capability provided by the Provance IT Asset Management Pack allows Microsoft System Center customers to take control of IT costs, improve IT Service Management efficiency and reduce security and compliance risks. It extends Microsoft System Center Service Manager with additional functionality to manage the financial, contractual and organizational information necessary to support Software Asset Management, License Compliance, IT Asset Life Cycle Management, and more cost-effective and efficient IT Service Management. The product will be localized to support multiple languages and currencies.

CeBIT is the world's largest trade fair showcasing digital IT and telecommunications solutions for home and work environments. Attendees are comprised of ITC practitioners from industry, the wholesale/retail sector, skilled trades, banks, the services sector, government agencies, science and all users passionate about technology. Over 4,300 exhibitors from approximately 69 countries and some 400,000 visitors from all over the world attended the last CeBIT in 2009.

The Provance IT Asset Management Pack for Microsoft System Center Service Manager will be demonstrated at the Microsoft pavilion in Hall 4, Stand A26/P06. Showcasing the solution will be experts from Hönigsberg & Düvel Datentechnik, who have been active participants in both the Provance and Microsoft product development programs. Hönigsberg & Düvel Datentechnik GmbH is an IT service provider headquartered in Wolfsburg with more than 20 national and international locations. The Germany-based public corporation offers a broad portfolio of IT services,with a particular focus on the business concerns of the Volkswagen Bank and the Volkswagen Group. 

Provance is expanding its global partnerships in preparation for worldwide distribution of its forthcoming Provance IT Asset Management Pack for Microsoft System Center Service Manager.
