What's New in Provance 4.3
Rich integration with Microsoft technologies is further enhanced in Provance version 4.3. Already optimized for Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, Provance 4.3 now uses the powerful capabilities of Configuration Manager Asset Intelligence to let you easily identify, select and manage software titles for proper allocation and tracking against license agreements. “Out of the box” integration with Microsoft Active Directory® gives you single sign on and now means you can track assets in Provance using the user accounts, organizational structure and location detail you already maintain in Active Directory. Provance 4.3 adopts Microsoft SQL Server® Reporting Services as a decision support platform to optimize business performance management by exposing Provance asset management data through reports, analytics, dashboards and scorecards. Provance 4.3 runs on Windows Vista® and Windows Server® 2008.
Asset Life Cycle Management
Provance 4.3 complements the configuration detail that Microsoft System Center provides with contract and cost information. By tracking important business details about suppliers, asset assignment, contracts and cost events you will improve vendor management, eliminate redundancy and surplus inventory, optimize the use of warranty and support contracts and avoid lease overrun penalties. Visibility of assets that cannot be detected through configuration scanning and non-operational assets that are in storage, on repair or disposed means you maintain full control of all your assets through their full life cycle.
