Presentation at WPC 2012:Using Microsoft System Center 2012 for SAM

Once again this year, I’ve been asked by the Microsoft SAM team to present an interactive session at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC 2012). Be sure to add “Using System Center 2012 for SAM,” session SAM 08i to your WPC calendar. There are actually two sessions of the same presentation, on Thursday, July 12 from 1:30 to 2:30pm with a repeat later in the afternoon between 4:30 and 5:30pm. Last year’s WPC presentation earned top ten ratings in both Overall Satisfaction and Presenter Effectiveness among all the Interactive Sessions for the entire conference, and was the most heavily attended and evaluated SAM interactive session. This year’s session will take an expanded focus, looking more broadly at the capabilities of Microsoft System Center 2012 and how they combine to provide a powerful solution for Software Asset Management. Here’s the session abstract and outline:

Abstract:

Microsoft System Center 2012 is a powerful platform for unified management of cloud,  datacenter, desktops and devices. This interactive session highlights the capabilities and components of System Center 2012 that can be used to support effective software asset management. The session features a demonstration of a SAM solution using System Center 2012, and describes the customer benefits and partner opportunities of using System Center 2012 in SAM engagements.
