Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for Lead and Opportunity Management as well as Account and Partner Management working closely with the Business Development leads. Through collaborative team based selling, the Inside Sales Representative will contribute to revenue growth both directly and with partners.  The Inside Sales Representative is also actively engaged in Account Management with a focus on customer satisfaction and recurring revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Opportunity Management
    • Evaluate and qualify incoming leads including quote creation to generate opportunities for the business development team, including scheduling calls and demonstrations
    • Cold Call prospects as part of specific marketing programs
    • Assisting the business development team whenever necessary
    • Ensure the quality of the information within the Customer Relationship Management system (Microsoft Dynamics 365)
  • Manage Customer Renewals
    • ​Ensure customers renew on a timely basis
    • Create quotes and orders
    • Assess product deployment and experience engaging team members appropriately to ensure customer satisfaction and use of Provance
  • Product Knowledge
    • Develop and maintain sound product knowledge to effectively demonstrate and represent Provance product capabilities

Position Qualifications and Personal Traits:

  • University or college degree
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience and a proven track record in software solution inside sales
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365, IT Service Management, ITIL and the IT industry preferred
  • Experience in assessing and responding to client needs
  • Excellent phone, organizational and written communication skills
  • Good presentation skills and the ability to influence decisions
  • Strong interpersonal skills selling in collaborative internal and external team environments
  • Demonstrated initiative, flexibility and a positive and professional attitude
