Gatineau, Quebec. January 19, 2016. Provance® today announced the immediate availability of Provance IT Service Management. The only IT service management (ITSM) software solution that runs natively on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform, Provance IT Service Management allows the use of existing investments in Microsoft to manage the delivery of IT services. Available online or on premises, Provance IT Service Management is a PinkVERIFY™ 2011 ITIL® accredited solution that enables the management of services delivered from heterogeneous IT infrastructure across hybrid environments.
Provance IT Service Management is the first product resulting from a merger in December that saw the transfer of software product and supporting personnel from AlfaPeople’s ITSM division to Provance in exchange for equity. The new Provance solution features enhancements to the original AlfaPeople ITSM product that now combines the two companies’ respective expertise in Microsoft System Center and Microsoft Dynamics CRM to deliver IT service management built and optimized for the Microsoft platform.
Provance IT Service Management is delivered as a business application powered by Dynamics CRM and runs natively on the Microsoft cloud platform. As such, it takes advantage of the performance, security and reliability of Dynamics CRM, rich interoperation with Microsoft Office 365, Power BI and other Microsoft productivity tools, and enables extensive configuration without a single line of code.
The new release also introduces out-of-the-box Microsoft connectors to import configuration item details from System Center Configuration Manager and user data from Active Directory. Drawing on the 18-year Provance legacy as an independent vendor of IT asset management software, new capabilities for hardware and software management have been added and fully integrated with IT service management.
