Account Executive

The Account Executive role involves sales, account management, pipeline development, as well as supporting sales pursuits with our partners and Microsoft field sales representatives to represent Provance and our product capabilities to customers.

Only candidates who reside and work in the Ottawa and Gatineau region will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed designated revenue goals
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to acquire and enable client acquisition and revenue growth
  • Utilize a solution selling approach to generate and close new revenue opportunities for Provance
  • Lead proposal responses engaging appropriate resources as required
  • Maintain pulse on competitors and industry
  • Develop strong client and Microsoft field relationships
  • Maintain sound knowledge of product and updated releases to effectively demonstrate and represent the Provance product capabilities
  • Maintain deep understanding of IT Service Management Processes and the Microsoft Business Apps solutions
  • Provide input into future product capabilities based on client, market requirements and experience

Position Qualifications and Personal Traits:

  • University degree / College diploma
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience and a proven track record in enterprise software solution sales preferably with Microsoft or IT service management companies
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management, ITIL, and IT operations is highly desirable
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Teams, Power Platform is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to engage at executive and management levels
  • Experience in assessing and responding to client needs
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent organizational and written communication skills
  • Good presentation skills and the ability to influence decisions
  • Strong interpersonal skills working in collaborative internal and external team environments
