Account Executive

The Account Executive role is pivotal in driving our growth. As a sales-focused position, it involves pipeline development, full sales cycle management, and collaborating with our partners and Microsoft field sales representatives to represent Provance and our product capabilities. Your primary focus will be on generating new wins and expanding the use of our products within our customer base. 

Role Requirements: 

  • Passion for enterprise software sales, coupled with a positive enthusiasm and a drive to achieve more. 
  • 5+ years of software sales experience, with a strong preference for candidates with ITSM and ITAM related experience. 
  • Must be a resident of Canada. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive client acquisition and revenue growth. 
  • Meet and exceed revenue goals within the assigned territory. 
  • Lead follow-up and qualification efforts to build a strong and qualified pipeline. 
  • Utilize a process-driven selling approach to drive and close new revenue opportunities. 
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and Microsoft field representatives. 
  • Stay up-to-date on competitors and industry trends. 
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of our product to effectively communicate and showcase Provance's capabilities and benefits. 
  • Maintain knowledge of IT Service Management Processes, as well as Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform solutions. 
  • Provide valuable input into future product development based on client feedback and market requirements. 

Position Qualifications and Personal Traits: 

  • University degree or college diploma. 
  • A minimum of 5 years of successful experience in IT software solution sales, demonstrating the ability to handle the full sales cycle from qualification to closure. 
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management, ITIL, and IT operations is highly desirable. 
  • Familiarity and experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Teams, and Power Platform is a plus. 
  • Comfort engaging with C-level management and collaborating with IT professionals at all levels. 
  • Possesses a positive and professional attitude, combined with a strong work ethic. 
  • Proven experience in assessing and addressing client needs effectively. 
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to influence others. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. 
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills in collaborative internal and external team environments.
