As a Microsoft Competency Partner, Provance participates at the highest of three levels of membership in the Microsoft Partner Network. Competency partners have distinguished themselves by demonstrating a specific, proven skillset through a combination of customer references, customer satisfaction surveys, company assessments and the completion of certification exams by individual employees.
Provance holds the gold Microsoft Software Asset Management (SAM) and silver Volume Licensing competency certifications. Attainment of the gold Microsoft SAM competency means Provance has demonstrated “best-in-class” capability in the solution area, and proven the expertise and the motivation to help customers save money while improving visibility and control of their software assets through optimized SAM practices.
The Volume Licensing competency certifies that Provance possesses the expertise and knowledge to help organizations simplify their software licensing decisions and realize the greatest value from their IT investments.
Provance also participates in the Microsoft Cloud Essentials program for partners establishing a cloud practice to build and deliver customized and scalable cloud solutions.
In 2011, Provance was named Microsoft SAM Innovation Partner of the Year finalist, and was a national 2011 Microsoft Impact Awards Partner of the Year finalist for SAM and Systems Management. The SAM Innovation Partner of the Year Award honors a partner and two finalists who consistently innovate and leverage SAM solutions and services, enabling customers to take advantage of new technologies.
Provance is an active participant in Microsoft's Technology Adoption Program (TAP) and Rapid Deployment Program (RDP). A small collection of business partners and customers are invited to participate in these programs to drive product and market readiness around specific Microsoft products and releases.
