International Association of IT Asset Managers (IAITAM) 2014 Spring Annual Conference and Exhibition (ACE)
Provance Vice President, Gord Watts will be attending the 2014 IATAM Annual Spring Conference on April 29th, May 1st, 2014 as a featured speaker for the session titled IT Asset Life Cycle Management: It's All About Process.
Scheduled for April 29, 2014 between 2:15pm - 3:15pm, the session will discuss how well-structured and properly executed life cycle management practices are essential to improve the return on investment for IT assets, avoid internal and external audit consequences, and adopt future technology.
This presentation will also identify the various stages that comprise the asset life cycle and establishes the importance of good process in enabling controlled, consistent and efficient day-to-day execution of IT asset management tasks and activities across all stages.
Additional practical guidance will be offered on how to source and define best practices, structure and implement effective processes, use software to support and enforce process execution, and maximize befits through process automation.
