Like the existing Provance IT Asset Management Pack, which was introduced simultaneously with the introduction of Microsoft System Center Service Manager in 2010, the new Provance IT Asset Management product is a process management pack that runs natively within Service Manager to provide IT asset management capabilities directly in the System Center platform. Provance IT Asset Management for Microsoft System Center offers a new option for organizations who seek a solution to meet a specific need or must work with a limited budget.

Provance has also announced another forthcoming offering, Enterprise IT Asset Management for Microsoft System Center. Expected later in 2014, this new product will deliver the most complete and robust IT asset management experience for Microsoft System Center. Organizations implementing Provance IT Asset Management for Microsoft System Center will be able to simply upgrade to the Enterprise edition as their requirements grow and mature. Existing Provance IT Asset Management Pack customers will receive a license upgrade to the new Enterprise IT Asset Management product.
